On a ride leg:
routeNamesis the line’s name inar, enandckb(ckbis not filled in yet), androuteNamestays the Arabic one.towardsis the end of the line this ride is heading to, as{ ar, en }: «towards Bab Al-Muadham». It comes from where along the line you board and where you get off, so it is right whichever way you ride. It isnullwhen that end of the line has not been confirmed (a few lines still lack one): show no direction rather than a guess.
Every leg’s from and to carry a name ({ ar, en }): the street, square or area to board or get off at, which is what you tell a rider. It is null for your own origin and destination, which you already named. To start walking to the boarding point, ask /v1/directions/walking/… from the origin to the leg’s to.
What the data can’t say
Section titled “What the data can’t say”Baghdad’s kia lines have no timetables and no intermediate stops, so we give no waiting times and no transfers. We give what we know precisely: which line serves your trip, and where to get on and off.
